The acclaimed Summer Concert series at Treasure Island Resort & Casino
The resort’s mega-popular Summer Concert Series returns this year on an upgraded stage with a star-studded lineup that features country music superstars Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood.
The two-time Grammy Award-winning American rock band, Matchbox Twenty, kicks off the concert series on Saturday, June 10th. The five-time Grammy-nominated all-boy band will bring their Slow Dream tour to the spanking new Treasure Island Amphitheater stage at 7 PM.
Gates open from 5 PM, but the pre-party for the resort’s first summer concert event will ring in the season at the Parlay Lounge from 3 PM to 4:30 PM, featuring Ryan and Dez of KS95 FM. The night will also be graced by the special guest Hudson Thames. Tickets for the Matchbox Twenty concert start at $26.50.
Next up on the concert roster is Carrie Underwood. The country music’s reigning queen will grace Treasure Island Amphitheater alongside Caroline Jones. Join the songstress under the bright lights as she performs her biggest hits like Two Black Cadillacs from 7 PM on Friday, July 21st.
On Saturday, August 19th, all roads lead to Treasure Island Resort & Casino, where Jason Aldean will rock the Amphitheater stage, alongside special guests touring DJ Dee Jay Silver, Wild as Her-singer Corey Kent, and Nashville-native Mitchell Tenpenny. The performance will be part of the country music icon’s sold-out Highway Desperado tour. Tickets start at $45.
The Staind will be TI’s opening music act for September. The rock band – best known for their aggressively honest lyrics and powerful beats that blend heavy metal, hard rock, and post-grunge – will serenade the crowd at the Treasure Island Amphitheater. The outdoor concert will start at 8 PM on Saturday, September 9th. Tickets started selling on March 17th, a few weeks before Connecticut Lottery Corporation severed its partnership with Rush Street Interactive.
The summer concert series at Treasure Island Amphitheater wraps up officially on Saturday, September 16th, with Trampled by Turtles and CAAMP on the stage.
Get your laugh on and rock away at The Island Event Center
The resort will also host a bevy of summer events at The Island Event Center, including bona fide comedians to up-and-coming musicians. The lineup at the 2800-seat indoor venue will kick off on Wednesday, June 21st, with Miss Minnesota Scholarship Competition, and wrap ups Friday, September 22nd, with Skid Row and Buckcherry.
Comedy highlights include Gabriel Iglesias. Fluffy — who has been producing comedy series for Netflix since 2018 — will take over The Island on Saturday, August 5th, with two acts – one at 7 PM, and another from 10 PM. Tickets start at $79.
Guests looking to finish off their summer fun with a bang should look forward to the Skid Row and Buckcherry. The rock ‘n roll group will headline The Island on their The Gang’s All Here Tour on Friday, September 22nd.
All events at The Island are for guests 12 or older.
BBQ food, beer, and electric music at The Lot
Nestled next to the Treasure Island Amphitheater, The Lot will be the place to be for outdoor pre-party events, incredible eats, and live music summer-long at TI.
Additional outdoor events include the Island Summer Salute: Classic Rock Jam on July 1st and the Island Block Party on July 3rd.
Perhaps the icing on the cake will be Island Wings & Brew. The July 15th outdoor event will feature plenty of food (bbq chicken wings!) served by Minnesota’s best food trucks and beer from top local breweries, as well as rock music by Hairball and Anthem.
